Cambridge Blue

My husband rowed in college, so we talked about going to the Henley Regatta together, since we met in 2004. This past summer, we finally made the trek. From the outrageous blazers to the Pimm's cups to the wooden, manually-operated scoreboard, the experience was unforgettable and oozed tradition.

As we watched the boats (and the people - because let's face it, that's half the fun!), my eye kept wandering to the most captivating blue-green blazers peppering the enclosure. Turns out, they were the Cambridge University blazers, and the color is fittingly known as "Cambridge Blue" (despite appearing more spring green than blue). Regardless, the color is exquisite, complex, unexpected and soothing with a touch of femininity. Although I describe myself as mildly allergic to color, I can't seem to get enough of Pantone 557. Tell me what you think of my new, favorite corner of the color wheel! XO, L
