Best Dressed Home No. 02 - Victoria Hagan's Nantucket Retreat
As a young girl, I remember seeing Victoria Hagan's designs on the pages of my mom's Architectural Digest magazines. We would spend countless hours studying her crisp, comfortable and quietly luxurious. I was constantly amazed how she composed rooms that appeared simple, restrained but never boring. I also adore her philosophy - she likes to say, "I'm in the happiness business." And it's true, isn't it? Good design should make us happy, pure and simple.
Victoria Hagan is one of our generation's most talented designers, and I couldn't be more thrilled to share with you one of my favorite design projects ever - her personal home on Nantucket (featured in Architectural Digest, July 2015). Aside from being on Nantucket (one of my favorite corners of the world), her design is perfection. The rooms are relaxed, light-filled, peppered with various shades of blue, tailored but not stiff and, above all, happy. Hope you enjoy this dose of sunshine! XO, L
