A few weeks ago, my daughter and I played hooky and snuck away for the night. She dictated our schedule, which included breakfast in bed, horseback rides, tickle fests, tea parties and bike rides. We both needed a break and time to simply be together, play, and be silly. As we pulled up to the hotel an hour from our home, I was already thinking about how to extend the experience.

I was struck by the simple magic that happens, when I'm alone with my daughter. The every day becomes an adventure in her company. This post is a celebration of the exceptional little girls in our lives. Hopefully one day, they will run the country (and the world)! XO, L
